Quanshi Zhang is a tenured Associate Professor and Ph.D. advisor in the School of Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His internationally recognized research focuses on the interpretability of neural networks. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2014 and conducted postdoctoral research at UCLA from 2014 to 2018. He is a recipient of the ACM China Rising Star Award and has served in editorial and senior program roles for TMLR, NeurIPS, ICML, IJCAI, AAAI, and CVPR.
