Willem Jiang is an independent open-source and agentic AI consultant and a maintainer of DeerFlow. He previously worked at ByteDance's OSPO, served on the Apache Software Foundation Board of Directors, and contributed to Apache Camel, CXF, ServiceMix, and ServiceComb. His earlier roles include open-source technical expert at Huawei and Principal Engineer at Red Hat.
