Zhenbo Yu was in the first cohort of the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Honorary Doctoral Program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and studied under Academician Wenjun Zhang. He was a three-time consecutive world champion in the ImageNet International Competition and formerly led the virtual human team at Huawei HiSilicon. He currently heads the MetaCube Laboratory at the Future Media Collaborative Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and mentors the university's Guozhi Class. He was named to the 2023 Forbes China 30 Under 30, the 2023 Hurun 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurial Pioneers, and the 2024 Yangtze River Delta U30 Youth List.
