Zhenghao Chen is a Lecturer, equivalent to Assistant Professor, at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He received his bachelor’s degree with first-class honours and his Ph.D. from the University of Sydney in 2017 and 2022. He has worked at TikTok, the University of Sydney, Microsoft Research, and Disney Research. His research spans generative AI, embodied AI, AI for science, and multimedia, with publications in venues including CVPR, ICCV, ICML, ICLR, ECCV, and AAAI. He focuses on translating research into practical industrial and cross-disciplinary applications.
